Electric Drive Automotive Technician Training
The course covers fundamentals, system design, diagnostic considerations and special service topics of HEVs, BEVs, PHEVs, FCEVs, and EREVs. This course also includes, an equal mix of classroom lecture, shop activities, exercises, diagnostics, repair, major component removal and refit, battery removal, and reinstallation, with hands-on motor-generator (MG) dissasembly and diagnostics.
This course offers participants a fundamental understanding of the concerns and processes involved in EV charging station installation and projects; such as: identifying proper and safe electricity supply; determining the logistics and placement of electric vehicle supply equipment; ascertaining the industry standards and codes; and exercising best practices of holistic project management.
Online Course: First Responder Safety Training Electric Drive Vehicle Online
This course will equip firefighters with the knowledge needed to safely respond to automotive incidents involving electric drive vehicles. Participants will study: the various electric drive vehicle configurations and built-in safety systems; the assessment process of an electric drive vehicle at an accident scene; and the best practices of approaching, assessing, and securing electric drive vehicles.
